Recreation Trips for Groups already enjoying other Hemlock Overlook programs

Register your group for a 4 hour guided trip. We can accommodate groups of between 10 and 30 persons. These trips include a briefing on safety procedures plus instruction sufficient for you to understand how to hold and use your paddle, and how to fit and wear a PFD (personal floatation device). The main part of the trip offers enjoying the upper reaches of the Occoquan Reservoir. Wildlife such as beaver, great blue herons, hawks, waterfowl, and deer abound. Group members determine distance, pace and where sack lunches will be eaten.

Cost: See Booking Request Form -- Schools or Booking Request Form -- Community Groups. Fee includes a canoe to be shared, your paddle, a PFD (life vest), and American Canoe Association certified guideGroup canoeing on lake
