Prescriptions and Over-the Counter Medications During their stay at Hemlock Overlook students may need to take some form of medication. Here are some helpful guidelines: Follow your school protocol for dispensing medication while on field trips. Hemlock Overlook staff members may not carry or distribute any medication (prescription or over-the-counter) for your students. The teacher/chaperone who accompanies each individual team throughout the day should carry any medication needed by your students. Hemlock Overlook team facilitators are trained in both CPR and First Aid. They carry basic First Aid Kits.
