Hemlock Overlook offers its Environmental Education / Team
Development Course Program (ETDC) as an overnight function
for students in grades 5 and 6. It is the ability to combine
environmental and team development lessons with the ultimate
group experience: staying overnight! We have two options,
the 24-hour ETDC for those wishing to stay one night, and
the 48-hour ETDC for those that really wish to get away from
it all.
The overnight program provides a unique opportunity for classmates
to bond and learn about the environment and each other in
a non-traditional setting. Sleep in our
cabins, eat in our dining hall, have a campfire, and wake
up in a park! The group size is limited to 88 students and
8 teacher/parent chaperone (or fewer students and more chaperones)
for a total of 96 people.
