We urge you to read both the Teacher
Information Page and the FAQ
Page as you prepare to book your program. Please contact
us by telephone (703-993-4313) or email teamwork@gmu.edu
to answer questions specific to your group. Reservations are
no longer taken by telephone.
HELPFUL HINTS FOR THE BOOKING REQUEST
FORM
- Please provide your email address as it makes communication
easier.
- Don’t forget to include a cell/home telephone to
be used in the event of emergency i.e. cancellation of program.
- Identify both the months and days of the week you CAN
come. **
Factor in holidays, early closing and testing days. A
$200 fee is charged to change a booking date after your
contractis signed and returned to us.
- When booking for the next year, estimate the number of
students based upon the rising class enrollment. Also refer
to Confirm you Group
Size
- TDC = Team Development Course; EE = Environmental Education;
ETDC = Combined EE; and TDC TTC = Total Team Challenge™
**Hints for getting your preferred program
date:
- Consider flexible schedules such as starting before 9:30am
or after 11:00 am.
- With large groups (120 students), it is sometimes necessary
to split your group, with each half/different class coming
a different day(s).
- List many choices rather than just a few days. Schools
that indicate a preference for any Wednesday or Thursday
are likely to be scheduled more quickly than a school that
indicates only 3 specific days.
- Fridays are in high demand. If Friday is your 1st choice,
please include two choices other than Friday.
- Clearly indicate your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. This
helps us identify the best possible choice.
